We are just now getting into do online sales for memberships. We have discovered, however, that the form online is rather basic. Some of the changes that we would love to see happen are:
For Family level-type memberships:
1.be able to edit the wording for "primary member & secondary member" so that we can do "primary member & spouse or significant other". We aim to sell our memberships by the household and the current wording makes it sound that they can choose anyone as their second member.
2. be able to enter in the adult members' birth dates.
3. be able to put in the names of the children in the household. This includes putting in the first and last name and their birth dates.
We need all this information so we can print out the cards and right now I am looking at having to call everyone who buys a membership online to find out how many children they have. It also doesn't put a stop to two friends wanting to buy a membership together (which trust me, we get people asking all the time in person until we explain that the membership is for household members only.)
So are there any tips anyone can give to help me with my problem and is there any way this could be worked on to add more variety of information in the web form?
Thank you!
As an example, I really like how one local museum has their online membership sales laid out:

Yes we need to be able to collect the DOB! Even the simplest webforms collect this information so I am not sure why on earth Altru can't....
Yes! DMNS has the best membership form and online registration. You can update your information, edit and delete billing addresses, see order history, member benefits, etc. I guess we would settle for DOB for the time being though...
