When I make a Custom Item on a Group Sales Reservation Itinerary, it does not show up on the Organizational Calendar. Yet I need it to.
We use Custom Items for things like Lunches for tours. So I need Building Services to see that there is a Lunch occurring so they know to come by and clean up afterwards. They use the Org Calendar to know when they are needed, so since the Custom Item does not show up on the Org Calendar, they don't know they are needed for a lunch cleanup.
I know you can see it if we show Reservations on the Org Calendar, but that only gives a time and that it is Lunch. It doesn't show the location. And Building Services needs to know the location.
Here are 2 screenshots: one of the Itinerary, which shows the Custom Item, and one of the Org Calendar on the same day, and you will see that the Custom Item does not show up here. I need it to show up on the Org Calendar.
I agree wholeheartedly to this idea. We, too, need to show the custom item location in the org calendar. Our building services and security staff need to see what locations are being utilized, and they only have access to the org calendar.
