Altru Ideas

As nearly as I can tell, there is no way to make Advance Sales include searching for aliases. Is there a way I can set it up to do that?



Here's just one example of a staff person's frustration yesterday: She was attempting to input a payment for a field trip taken by students from The Bush School. This is a well known private school in Seattle which is universally referred to as "Bush". The staff person tried Bush and Bush School, but quite understandably did not know/remember that the official name of the school and the way it is listed in Altru is "The Bush School". (Because of this, I have an alias set up in Altru so the main search function will find both "Bush School" and "The Bush School", but that doesn't help with Advance Sales search.)



If this doesn't currently exist as a search option, I'd like to change this over to an idea for future implementation.
