Why can't I search for Appeal Mailings in a query, like I can for Appeals?

I'm building a query where I want to gather the constituents who received an Appeal Mailing. And it reminds me how frustrating this is!

If I want to query on constituents who received an Appeal, it's pretty easy, because I can search for the name of the appeal:

However, if I want to drill down and look at specific Appeal Mailings instead, I have go to hunt down the name of the Appeal Mailing, because you can't search:

This is irksome and definitely makes me less efficient. I feel like there are other places in queries where this happens as well, and it would be really useful to be able to search.
