As far as I can tell, the only way to take payment for Facility Rentals and Resources (and still have it show up in those categories in the Revenue Reports), is to use Group Sales.
I would love to be able to sell some facility/resource items through Advance or Daily Sales, rather than needing to set up a reservation. We sell moorage (think parking for boats) on both a reserved and a drop-in basis, which means we currently just sell it as a daily admission program. I'd love to see items like that get taken out of programs (since parking, whether for boats or for cars, is definitely not a program).
We've also sold moorage as a merchandise item, but that has its own problems (foiling my merchandise sales reports, not available through Group Sales, etc).
Is there a feature or work-around that I'm missing, or can facilities and resources only be sold through Group Sales?
