Split check payment, only one appeal option and unable to add appeals to sales donations.
I can't split a check payment to apply to two different appeals. Example: one check amount 6,000, 1,000 toward annual appeal, $5,000 toward capital pledge appeal. If I try applying in one payment, can only choose one marketing appeal. Then to run a report based on appeal, incorrect amount is assigned to one appeal only. The only way around is to enter the check payment twice for the constitutent with the same check number but split the amount per each appeal. I want to be able to enter the payment one time and show the proper appeal for each portion accordingly. The designation can be split but the appeal can not. Additionally, I can not add an appeal to a donation that is made through Advance Sales. Therefore, any reports to gather total dollars for an appeal are not accurate.
