The report should have a pledge amount column, along with the [payment] amount and [pledge] balance columns. It is confusing when an organization is listed, but will not have an amount next to it because it is a pledge. It is also confusing when you have a pledge and pledge payment within the same time frame, as it will only show the balance and not the original pledge amount. I understand the Giving Activity shows pledge information, but then that report lacks any other giving that is not attached to a pledge.
In the attachment, the yellow highlights a pledge for $1M, but you wouldn't know that from this report. Although the dates are backwards, the 18th is the pledge, the 17th the payment (first day of our go live and still learning how to enter pledges). Also the green highlight is an example, that is a $1M pledge as well, but you aren't able to tell, especially once the pledge is paid in full, like that one is.
