The option to limit available titles for web forms would prevent purchasers from adding bogus honorifics to their constituent records.
This was a very useful feature in NetCommunity we were sad to lose when switching to Altru. We have over 100 legislators and judges in our database that use special Titles that we don't want customers to be able to select in Web Forms.
