We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
I made this as a Community post recently but realized it might better serve in Ideas:
It'd be great if there was a setting to uncheck the default "Copy email address to household and members" when adding an email address to someone with a spouse. Right now we can only pull email lists for primary members, because SO many couples automatically share emails due to Altru settings. I'm no iContact pro, but I know we get members complaining because they already get duplicate emails or emails addressed to their spouse because they share in Altru, so this is a roadblock for us being able to email to all secondary members as well.
I can see that under Manage Life Changes we can uncheck "Update contact information," but I would love it to be broken down to sharing phone, address, and emails. Everything else is fine, but email sharing is what causes customer dissatisfaction. If this issue was only coming in from online sales it would be manageable enough to be a weekly cleanup, but right now it's just too unwieldy to resolve.
Yes please- ability to leave this unchecked by default would be so helpful. This messes up our record keeping as well.
Yes, PLEASE!! It would save us hours of cleanup every week.
Very much needed!
Agreed!
Yes please!
Could not agree more. This defualt checkbox to copy the email address to household and members is a serious roadblock for our organization's efforts in reaching our constituents effectively. This really should be removed altogether, and the option to chose which type of contact information to copy to other household members under the Manage Life Changes would be very helpful.
More than any other feature in Altru, this is the one that gives us the most headaches. By far.
