Allow marketing surveys to be taken off certain sales

While we think the marketing surveys are wonderful for gathering data on new people at the time of entry (we currently have zip code and one additional question configured), for members and gift shop sales, marketing surveys merely add time to our front end sales without giving us any additional info. Even checking "declined to respond" can be a significant amount of time between the window loading and then the time the system takes to save the responses, which often adds several seconds to each sale.

It would be great if we could disable marketing surveys for certain application users (such as gift shop employees) or constituencies (particularly current and former members) so that we aren't double recording info or gathering data we already have.

This is urgent for us too! Looks like it's been her a while and I have no faith that anyone even looks at this!

I would really like to see this happen, we have members who come in and they want to just get inside and "bypass" a line. When the marketing Survey is active and we have to spend extra time to check them in then it hinders them and the next customer. They are our members and we don't want to ask them every week why they are visiting or what their zip code is because we have that in the system already. We do love the Survey but would like to see this be updated to be more user friendly so we can best help our customers.

I agree that this would be helpful to only have the zipcode survey online pop up when the transaction includes admission tickets rather than for every merchandise sale!!

I also feel that this would be a valuable change. I would like to be able to tie a marketing survey to a specific discount.

being able to target public and members with different questions would be super helpful!

Removing the zip code pop up for gift shop sales is redundant.  It does not appear for members and would save us a lot of time and efficiently serving guests if this pop up was optional.  All zip codes are obtained during the ticket purchasing process.  If coding has been created to not have the zip code pop up occur for members, I don't know why it would be incredibly difficult to add or remove that option.  But, I am not a programmer....

It will be great if the zip code survey can be enabled for certain days and times only. We gather data strategically; for instance, we need to know the zip codes of our Sunday visitors for a grant we are applying for. Regarding other marketing surveys, I vote yes for being able to select which workstations have them. Something else that will be helpful for us is to be able to ask different questions to members vs non-members. Maybe the price types in the basket could trigger the type of question?

If we could please implement this, it would greatly help our POS systems!

I would also love to see the option for the zip code survey to only pop up when the transaction includes tickets!

I would love to see the option for the zip code survey to only pop up when the transaction includes tickets.  So if there are only merchandise items on the transaction the zip code survey would not appear.  (We often sell both tickets and merchandise from the same workstation, so turning it off by username wouldn't help us.)

Or have certain questions attached to certain price types?
