There needs to be a way to print or email a receipt when a back office sale is completed.
We often have people whose transactions are entered in the back office who would like to receive an immediate receipt for their transaction. Or in some cases, they contact us a day or two later because they need a receipt for an expense report, reimbursement, etc. Acknowledgments are not a good alternative since the person entering the transaction is usually not the person who does the acknowledgments, and we would like to be able to click a button and just send the receipt so that there is no delay.
Please add this. We have run into this issue several times and the lack of parallel functionality in documenting transactions for the patron between front of house and back of house is regularly creating problems
an interim workaround is to go to the payment in the constituent's file, then hit CTRL-P and print to pdf. It creates an extremely basic receipt that you can attach to an email. Clunky though and wouldn't work for large EOY or Annual Fund batches

I need this too, badly! And not something that is just in the body of an email. It doesn't need to be on receipt paper or a special printer, but it needs to have all the info that would be on a receipt as if they bought something at a store or any other merchant!
