It's hard to believe that this still hasn't been implemented. I agree with all the previous comments. It's really essential to be able to know the value of the inventory on a particular date, especially year end.
When providing end of year reports, an inventory "as of" date is 100% required. The inability to do so has caused several hours of grueling, unnecessary, tedious leg work to retrieve the data needed.
An "as of date" parameter needs to be added to the Merchandise->Inventory report. This is essential for Financial reporting.
Altru is an outlier among similar system in that it lacks this feature.
Inventory as of a certain date is essential (and basic) financial information. PLEASE add the ability to run this report with an "as of" date.
As someone new to inventory having the ability to pull a report from a past date would help enormously! What is available is good but additions like this would make the program great

This is the second major accounting omission that I have had to vote on since we have implemented Altru in July 2019. When are software companies going to start including accountants in their design and programming?

Disappointing that we are unable to run an inventory report for any date range. Altru has included this function in so many other areas it is at the very least, strange to omit this option. This is a must, can't do without need.
Pulling valuation numbers as of a certain date is a must for any business with inventory. This is an extreme oversight on Altru's part.
This is a must for Finance. We have to conduct our annual inventory before we pull the report and that can be difficult scheduling it on a specific day, specially if it's a weekend. It's a basic functionality of any POS system.
A flaw in the system is not being about to print a past inventory report to compare to the general ledger. The system should allow monthly report and especially yearly report for audit purposes.
If you are selling this as a POS solution, a bare necessity is inventory reporting as of a date. We can live with the many other shortcomings, but this is critical.
Agree wholeheartdly wtih Paula's comment. This is a severe omission.
You have absolutely got to be able to pull an inventory valuation report for any date and time for auditors, financial reports, etc. It is hard to believe Altru is used as a POS system without this function.
