This is the third suggestions I've voted for today which was originally suggested in 2016. These improvements are a must.
Would love a version of this to be added. Right now with the federal reserve's recent cessation of the U.S penny production, it is forcing businesses tio adapt by implementing new cash transacition rounding rules and updating POS systems. This will include impact/updating POS systems relating to cash transactions primarly, rounding rules, specifically to the nearest five cents, rather than to the nearest dollar. This is definitely something Altru should be working on addressing, as organizations will need to report the loss/gains in some way.

This is a simple feature provided by most other POS systems. Altru should be providing this feature to their customers.
Was just at the AAM conference in Denver and the DAM gift shop had this option - brought it back to my team to see if we could...and it is not something Altru does. Could this feature be added?

We have two seasons a year we do a "round up" promotion. It would be so helpful not to have to manage this by hand.
This request is about to be 4 years old in January 2020. Our org would definitely take advantage of this function at the admissions desk and store. ALTRU - is there any feedback you can offer please?
I did this at the last museum I worked at and in a year $18,700 was donated. It really works! Some people just by asking to round up actually will donate as much as $20.00

Several grocery stores already do this. Our staff keep asking why we can't. (Note: no one on staff programs code!) But someone has invented that wheel.

This would be a really great thing to have. As at the institution I work at, before we transitioned to ALTRU, we were able to take Round Ups on Ticket sales, and that difference would go towards our fundraising designation. For us, those round ups made up a good amount of the funds we brought into our Annual Appeal. Not having this option with ALTRU really does put a damper on our fundraising, as patrons no longer have the simple/easy way of doing round ups. Would love to see this idea come to fruition soon.
We would really love this feature to round up for conservation!
We definitely need this feature! We already do it manually in Daily Sales with our donation button but it would make the process so much easier! Most drug stores and fast food restaurants are already doing this and I feel like the software that a science and technology center uses should be cutting edge not lagging behind!
This would be perfect for us, as an Art Museum. Many people already donate their loose change after a transaction, but card-holders do not have that availability. Even the smallest amounts can add up!
