This is still an ongoing issue for our donors. The "tribute" function in Altru is not adequate and I sincerely hope Blackbaud creates a more refined system for taking tribute gifts that more closely resembles traditional tribute donation platforms. If Blackbaud is unable to fix this issue, my organization and others will be forced to look at alternative options.
We desperately need this!!!! Admins need to review again, this is such a necessity.
Yes, yes, and yes!!
With many more donations coming in online due to the pandemic, it would be most helpful and more efficient if there was a way to connect online notes with tribute gifts. This has been one of the most challenging for our staff, we have to double enter the online note to the tribute and add references in batch entry to ensure we don't miss anything.
This functionality exists in NetCommunity (another Blackbaud product) and when moving to Altru, it has consistently been something that donors mention missing from our old system. Most of our tribute gifts came in online and we cannot now offer that service. It's really a shame that this is not being considered because it is functionality that you are able to provide in your other products (and it's a product that I assume many of your clients, like us, have moved from).
