Ability to re-apply group sales payments to different reservations

We have quite a few tour operators, schools and travel agents who regularly book group tours. Sometimes I will have multiple reservations for the same company. It would be very helpful if there were actual accounts for these organizations. On several occasions they have cancelled a tour that they have paid a deposit on and want to just apply it to another reservation. Right now we have no way of doing that.

    I would love an answer too is there a way to use an overpayment for another group from the same organization?
