Right now a phone number entered into an online registration form must be entered in the format (xxx)xxx-xxxx in order for it to be valid. It will also work without any punctuation or with two dashes. However, people are increasingly entering their numbers in the format xxx.xxx.xxxx, which is not valid. Altru should either make this format valid or show the customers how they want the number entered. For example, I see many online forms that have a greyed-out number format in the answer box, as seen in the attached image.
