When selling online memberships, the only option curently to require a phone number is for gifts only. Our organization recently went completely digital with our memberships and the app requires a phone number to access the digital card. We added a message on the sales page to help but have many members that are unhappy when they can't find their digital card because they did not enter a phone number. Not sure why this is only an optional requirement for gifts, but would love to require for all!
