Allow a member to store their membership card on their mobile phone.
My Marketing Department is very interested in having membership cards show up on mobile phones, so they can show that instead of an actual card. Sort of like how you can add different frequent-shopper/loyalty cards on your phone and store it on the Passbook app, and all you have to do is scan the barcode on the phone in the store. Or it could be similar to how you can get your Geico car insurance card on your phone.
The main info we will need to show up is their name, lookup ID (in barcode font so we can scan it), and membership level and exp date.

This is still an important feature to my institution.
we had developed a digital card for Raiser's Edge, even though that was a hassle too, and now we are back to square one with figuring out how to create a digital membership card on Altru. Ideally, Altru would have an app that would have a digital card built in to it.
Since Altru does not have an app, could this be connected to webforms somehow? If a member signs in to their Altru account, can there be a button that prompts the member to save their digital membership card onto their phone? We would need name, address, reciprocal program logos, add-ons, membership level, and membership ID (which has an asterisk before and after it) in the 3 of 9 barcode font.
we are currently developing an app for our institution, and ideally the membership card could be accessed through this app.

My organization also would like a digital membership card. We did design one and we are going to house it in our app, however it definitely isn't a perfect system.
