I have to pull revenue reports daily but our events are multiple weeks long so when I pull a report it will give me the revenue but then break it out by individual days which is unnecessary. So when I am pulling a report on classes it breaks the revenue report up to each individual date of a class when I just need the revenue from the actual class event. It means I have to edit the reports in excel and delete all the classes and edit things which seems needlessly complicated. I would like to pull a revenue report for each event in a category without them being broken down by days.
I completely agree. I'd also like to ability to report on the revenue for a specific pre-registered event package. I can sort of do this if I change the dates in the report, but if I have packages in the same program with overlapping dates, it's impossible without having to deal with excel afterwards. If I do it via an ad-hoc query, i end up with all of the revenue for a sales order, and not just the revenue for the package. Don't know why this isn't already built in, considering that we can already query on the Program.
