Shocked this still isn't available. Desperately needed for our development staff.
This still isn't available and it is desperately needed. Either we need to be able to globally change Addressees/Salutations or import updates using the prototypes.
We need the capability to import updates to name formats instead of having to spend more time than any of us have to individually adjust thousands of records.
Still working on updating all the old name formats to more politically correct formats. Only about 30,000 to go!
If you won't fix this, please at least fix the glitch in Group Sales that won't apply existing rules to new contact records.
Any update on this? It's a pain in the rear that you can't edit name formats in bulk.
I would just like to change all of the thousands of name formats transferred from our old system that have different names but the same formatting to a more accurate, uniform name in Altru. Instead of being able to ask the system to change everyone with Old Name Format A, B or C to a New Altru Name Format X, I have to do it manually.
Should also be able to delete a name format on the backend and have it automatically removed from all constituent records.
As per previous comments, we need the flexibility of creating new Name format and updating the existing constituents already in the database.
