I just wanted to chime in that we very much need to be able to query zip codes captured in daily sales as well. Since the zip code report is by sale date and not program date, it makes it very difficult to compare different months accurately for all our visitors, not just those who buy tickets in advance. The report also gives much less flexibility with breaking down information (with query, for instance, we could export much more information about what day people come etc, and do robust analysis in excel)
As it is, I'm going to try to export the zip code report for just daily sales in a given month to excel, and then do a query for non-daily sales and see if I can combine them. But clearly thats much less elegant...
