I was talking to Holly Mansfield at New England Wildflower Society. We discovered that when marking a payment as anonymous, you cannot save recognition credits in the "Add a payment" screen. While you can edit the payment once it is saved and add it recognition credits, this is an inconvenience.



The logic that anonymous gifts shouldn't have recognition credits is more complicated than just no recognition credits. You don‰Ûªt want the anonymous gifts to show up on a Donor List; however, when you run revenue reports for a specific time period or constituency category (such as board giving), you want those to show.
