There is nothing that commits the purchaser to the item they are buying. Does Altru have a place on the checkout page where we can add an acknowledgement of the sale - to hold people accountable for the purchase? Can there be a box added to purchase webpages asking the buyer to check the box if they agree to terms committing them to what they are buying. This would be a nice feature to add to the checkout page - a check box or note.
This idea was to help with any accounting disputes we have from online purchases - due to us not having a signed signature on file. After working with our merchant services they stated what would help is wording holding buyer accountable for purchase. We were able to add a line on our web form that will help - but we still wanted to submit this as an idea. I attached a screenshot from a different non profit as an example along with the wording we added on our web page.
We'd like to learn more about the needs for capturing additional purchaser information or the goal for committing a sale/transaction in a different way.
