We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
We are having the issue where we are getting a lot of duplicate records created because the constituent matching algorithm (when someone signs in online and creates an account) is set to 93%. Problem is, if we change that we increase the risk of two separate people who have similar information (names, etc.) merging. The biggest issue that comes out of this is that our members who try and create an account or sign in don't get their membership discounts when registering for programs or after hour events. This can create an extra nightmare for our accounting department who then has to merge the records and refund them the difference. This happens a lot.
They should match on email address to increase likelihood of correct match.
