We value your unique insight into our products and services and often receive ideas and feedback from our community in a variety of ways. To streamline this process, we’ve created an idea bank where you can post product suggestions, vote for those most important to you, and add comments to existing ideas.
When a user registers online, the email they used during registration does not by default appear on the preregistered program roster. Whatever is set as their primary email address appears, and many users are not aware of what email addresses we have on file or set as primary. This caused a privacy problem for one of our attendees. She registered for an event using her current email address, but when we contacted registrants using the roster, information was sent to an ex-spouse. Users should have more control about what information is linked to their registration.

This default feature to not use email used for the sale on the preregistered program roster is a problematic choice on the part of Altru. In addition to the privacy matters already addressed, defaulting to the primary email address makes it difficult to communicate any updates about the program to participants when they have a primary email that is no longer in use.
