It would be great if Altru had an easy way to show snapshots in time of Membership Status and similar info.
There are times when I need to know things like:
How many active members (not memberships) did we have in year X compared to year Y?
How many memberships (not members) did we have in year X compared to today.
What is the annual trend of active vs. lapsed members (and memberships) from 2005-2010, in numbers?
It would be great if there was a way to report on these without having to build a complicated query. Maybe we can have this info be a part of the Activity page or we can make it a report where you can choose a specific date in time (or time period, like specific year) and have it show active (and lapsed?) members and memberships during that time. The Active Memberships report does not allow for seeing snapshots in time similar to what I need.
*I was able to build a query for something I needed at the time (with the awesome help of Alisa, thanks Alisa!) - but it was way over complicated and it shouldn't be this hard to look up historical snapshot info.

This is a huge struggle for us looking back to previous years. Altru currently doesn't have a report that can show both the amount and the count accurately.
