Eight years later, this would still be a useful feature.

It has been almost 7 years since this idea was posted. Blackbaud, please make your customers happy! Is there a way to push this?
Please add this genuinely useful feature instead of sabotaging our productivity by removing the top search box.
We are trying to limit our membership promotions to push the sale of levels that are not performing as well. This is a huge frustration that we have to offer a discount to all levels in a membership program cutting our revenue on the high selling levels. Can something be done about this? If you can limit standard discounts for tickets and merchandise by price type and level, why not membership levels?

This is an ongoing frustration and limitation for membership functionality in Altru. Please incorporate this ASAP. There are so many votes for this!

Please push this through sooner than later. It is so important to have restrictions with promos on certain membership levels. It makes it easier on us. Please make this happen.
I am disappointed that this feature is not standard in Altru. We are very limited in what we can offer our members in regard to discounts because of the potential revenue loss. This needs to be implemented ASAP
We REALLY need this. We have a shared membership with another organization, and we LOSE MONEY when someone accidentally applies a 50% off discount to this membership!
This is a feature that absolutely needs to be implemented. It would be extremely useful for membership initiatives, at other institutions as well as ours.
I am not sure why this was not included when building out the membership module. Systems such as Altru are supposed to provide efficiency and not cause institutions to create multiple workarounds and additional administrative work.

Why is this a vote? Clearly organizations need this. You should just do it
The inability to make promotions exclusive to different levels of membership really puts us in a tough spot when it comes to revenue. It's risky to be unable to limit promo code use to certain levels as online giving expands and we can't completely control how patrons use them (foregone revenue from 10% off an $80 membership is pretty different from 10% off a $250 membership). But, using promos is a staple of gaining and keeping members. I strongly urge Altru to correct this limitation!
I would like to see this happen. It would be very helpful moving forward.
