Allow $0 refunds to add a ticket back to inventory WITHOUT refunding
We have multiple program events at a very minimal cost. Patrons can by these tickets by Online Sales, Advanced Sales and Daily Sales. If a patron buys a ticket in advance but cant make it to an event they want to release the ticket to be sold to someone else and for us to keep the $2 as a contribution. Currently, we have to change the capacity of the event in order to sell more tickets. Which then messes with the true numbers of the program. Or we were given the suggestion of creating a new price type to refund the order to. Which our accounting department isn't keen on. We would like to place the tickets back into inventory to re-sell but keep the revenue as a contribution or even as revenue from the event.
I would love to see this implemented as we often have registrants cancel, but we keep their program fees. Our current workaround is to refund a penny to an "Exchange" payment method (and return tickets to inventory), then purchase a merchandise item called "Withdrawal Adjustment" with that penny.
