This was a surprising issue as I have worked with multiple registration software brands and Altru has been the only time I ran into this. This is a giant issue for our institution as we quite often have to refund membership discounts that process through the system correctly and then cannot refund if the program is cancelled.
The inability to refund more than once has been an issue for us for years (and we voted on this idea over four years ago). If a member forgets to log in, we have to refund their entire order and have them purchase it again or have them wait until the event to issue their partial refund (as if we issue the partial refund for their member discount at the time of sale, we no longer have the ability to refund their order entirely). It's a broken system, really frustrating, and TERRIBLE for customer service.
