This was a surprising issue as I have worked with multiple registration software brands and Altru has been the only time I ran into this. This is a giant issue for our education classes department as we quite often have to refund membership discounts that process through the system incorrectly and then cannot refund if the class/program is cancelled.

Since 2018 we have been BEGGING for this. Any organization that does summer camps or classes hits this snag. Please address this!

My Gosh! How many years has this been an issue and not yet resolved. This is a necessary action to provide excellent customer service for our guests. PLEASE..make this so......This has been years....time to instigate. Thank you!
This would be so incredibly helpful. Altru, please implement this change. It doesn't makes sense that I can't partially refund some of a transaction to a credit card and some of it as an exchange credit.
Can we get an update on this please? We are having serious problems with not being able to do this!
Dissapointed that this is not already and option. I have a summer camp registration that I had to issue a discount to that was missed when they purchased, and now they need to cancel and I cannot easily refund the remaining.
Please develop this feature! Would be very helpful.
This is an issue that should not be a difficult one to adjust. It has caused my organization many headaches for our summer camps!
The ability to refund multiple times in one transaction would be GREAT! Even if it were limited to specific staff people. In 2020 we refunded camp fees. We first asked if patrons wanted to donate the fees back, convert to memebrship renewal, convert to other program fees or get a refund. So there was the potential of 4 refunds/conversions in one sale.
This has become another major issue for our organization. It's a straight forward problem that needs to be fixed.
We too encounter many situation where additional refunds must be made on the same order. The covid situation has only added to this issue. We would appreciate the ability to issue as many refunds as we need up to the original purchase price.

With all the sudden refunds having to be done we need this feature ASAP
This feature is desperately needed given the number of COVID-related refunds we are processing. The fact that it has been needed for so long and not added as a feature does not speak well for Altru.
Please add this function!!!! Because of Coronavirus, we are having to issue a huge amount of refunds and quite a few orders already have refunds on them because of issues we had with discounts.
How is this still an issue in 2019? This is a huge issue in our organization and to have to track it separately, with no audit trail in Altru, is unacceptable.
This idea was reviewed 1/4.2016. There are community discussions on the need for this functionality going back to 2014. When it was reviewed, was it determined that it needed to be fixed, is Planned and hasn't been fixed yet, or is it Not Planned? Reviewed is an unhelpful status.
This problem causes confusion within organizations and friction with constituents.
It is ridiculous this has not been added as a possibility yet.
